You can upload existing course materials in Powerpoint format. In a few seconds, Turnkey LMS will automatically convert the contents to a real online course.

User-friendly content editing

Editing the contents of your courses is as easy as using a word processor. You can paste text from Microsoft Word and keep the text formatting, tables, etc.

Images, audio, video and attachments

Use multimedia such as images, audio and video in your online courses. Insert images and video from your own File Library, or from external sources like YouTube. You can also attach files for learners to download and study.

File Library

Upload images, documents (such as Word and PDF documents) and other files to your own File Library. Each file can be tagged with keywords which makes it easy to find and re-use in several courses.

Approve enrolment

If self enrolment is enabled, you can choose to approve each enrolment. The course instructor is automatically notified of every new enrolment.

Competence Profiles

Create profiles to specify mandatory and recommended courses for different job roles. Each employee can be assigned to one or more profiles, which automatically enrols him in all mandatory courses.

Automatic reminders

Learners automatically receive email reminders when courses are due. You can set the frequency of reminders on a course-by-course basis. Overdue courses can be escalated using more frequent reminders, and alerts to the course instructor.

Messaging

In addition to automatic notifications, reminders and alerts, you can also send personalized messages to one or more learners at any time. All messages are logged so you always keep track of which information has been sent.

Status overview with traffic lights

Course instructors, administrators and management can track training progress by watching traffic lights that indicate which departments or employees fail to meet mandatory competence levels. Summary reports including alerts can be sent to management via email at regular intervals.

Competence Profile

You can access your own competence profile, which gives you an overview over the courses you are enrolled into. You can see which courses must be completed in order to fulfil your competence profile requirements.

User-friendly navigation

From your home page you can start or resume any course, and take the required tests associated with each course. The table of contents of each course tracks your progress through the course.

Diplomas

When you have completed a course, you can view or print your course diploma at any time. The diploma is a certificate of completion and documents your competence.

Test results

When you complete a test, the results and your grade is immediately ready. Your course instructor can choose to show you the correct answers after a test has been completed. All test results are archived.

Repeat courses

After a course has been completed, the course content remains available to you, allowing you to repeat the course, or just parts of it, at any time.

Rate courses and give feedback

Improve the course by giving your rating and feedback to the course developer. When you complete the course, you are asked to rate the course on a scale from 1 to 5. Your remarks, if any, are submitted anonymously.
